when did your belly button pop out?

I'm 25 weeks and I think mine might be on its way to popping. It's suddenly looking very flat (normally an 'innie'). Seems very early though... What's everyone else's experiences?

Mine didn't, much to DH's disgust. He said I wasn't properly pregnant unless it popped out . I did point out that even if it popped it wouldn't make a noticeable popping noise, which disapppointed him massively.

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow, it's getting a bit shallower but not popping out.

I'm 35+4. Mine's got a bit shallower too, but deffo no sign of popping out (thank God!).

I was freaked out by mine last night as it completely changed. I have been getting pains like the baby is engaging his head and now my belly button has gone almost completely flat. Yuck it is so weird as I almost felt it happen and my boyf thought it was hysterical and kept poking it. I thought of this thread - I hope it does not pop out

LO is four months and mine seems to have no intention of going back in EEK!!!

Mine has partly popped out, but pops all the way out when I laugh and then pops back in again

I'm 33 weeks and mine's half popped out,lol one side sticks out and the other sides really flat.
I'm hoping it either goes back in or fully pops out...it just looks freakish atm.

never with DD & doesn't look like it will with this one either, 2 weeks to go (fingers crossed)

Mine never did - nor did I get a linea nigra. My sister and I like to guess babies gender based on this. We theorise (quite madly) that outy button and linea nigra = girl and inny button and no linea nigra = boy. This is based on our and our friend's experiences and is, of course, nonsense. But fun!

Am glad- have scarring from an industrial accident and it wuld cause pain I think as would tear (only I could have tummy button scarring LOL)

im with you on that aims mum im getting freaked out that my belly may pop out the thought it makes me sick.......

Never Popped, poppy out belly buttons are icky

I am 33 weeks and its just about to go! It went at 31 weeks with dd. Looks freaky. I hate belly buttons.

Belly button update: a week later and mine's still flat - for now... but here's a question: when it 'goes' is it very sudden? (bambino1andbump am thinking of you here.) Can you actually feel it 'pop'? Or does it happen over a few days?

What is it about belly buttons that makes this all so EWWW?
