Any one else in same boat or had the same thing in past?
Very suddenly dawned on me I need my bag fully packed & ready to go in morning 😳
baby was between 3rd & 10th centile at 36 week scan although head too low to measure so unsure of how accurate it was 🤔
Section booked for 4th jan either way but been so adamant all is fine hadn't occurred to me I may have baby earlier!

No c-section but I had an early induction at 37 weeks due to different issues. I was worried about having baby early but it was all fine and I had a healthy baby.

Try not to worry. You are in the best hands and they will do whatever is best for you a baby.

Congratulations for when baby arrives!

I went in for a routine scan due to gestation diabetes, baby was measuring very big. Was told to go home, come back in an hour and prepare for a 2 night stay for steroids and so they can decide what to do.
Was in hospital for 4 days, went home for a day then back in for a csection on exactly 38 weeks.
She was born on 100th centile at 8lb 10.5oz Blush
Honestly, don't panic.
Get 3 outfits for baby (vest, sleepsuit, hat)
Going home outfit.
Blanket
Nappies and wipes
Cotton knickers in next size up to you.
Maternity pads.
Breast pads.
Nighty
Comfy clothes
Slippers and socks
Snacks and drinks
Chargers

Honestly, you'll be fine op! Goodluck!

Is this your first baby?

I liked the idea of knowing my what date my baby would be here and felt secure knowing he was coming via C-Section due to the complications we had.

Have you had a section before? A planned one is usually calm and don't forget to bring big, big knickers.

And hey, if baby doesn't come out tomorrow at least your bag is sorted Wink

Thanks ladies, all good, baby has grown enough to not cause concern! 😄
5 day countdown now, 2nd baby, traumatic forceps delivery with 9lb1 dd, big knickers at the ready!
