Last month I sent off a urine sample at my doctors for a suspected urine infection which came back positive.
Since then I have found out I am pregnant and going from my last period I am around 6 weeks 5 days BUT..

I use an app to keep an eye on my periods and ovulation and my period last month was completely different to any iv had before ie. a little late, not as heavy, cramps etc so looking back now I'm wondering is there any possibility my period last month was actually just ovulation bleeding and I'm further on than I think? Or when I sent off my sample would my pregnancy have shown as i done it after my period?

No, when they send the urine for testing, the laboratory only tests for what is requested . So you asked about an infection, and that is all they would have tested for.

They wouldn’t have done a pregnancy test on that sample without a good reason and without telling you so unfortunately you won’t know for sure until you have a dating scan.

Thank you for your replies, I will let the midwife know at my 8 week appointment, maybe she will book me an earlier scan to check
