Got my BFP Clearblue 2-3 weeks today!!

I got my BFP today . I did a cheapie test and it immediately came up with a faint positive . I got a clear blue and it almost immediately said “pregnant “! Followed by 2-3 weeks! First time mumma but work in a Nursery and love children so pleasant surprise ! Boyfriend is just coming round.

Any other mummies due late august / beginning of September !!
It’s looking like expected due date is 5th September! Will be great to share this journey with peeps seen as it’s too early to tell anyone else I’m the real world yet ! Can’t wait to find out how many weeks I actually am :) Good luck ladies

@Hunt123 yes first baby, very excited. I'm 29 weeks tomorrow, due 11th March 😁😁we found out at 16 weeks that we are having a girl 🥰🥰do you think you'll want to find out the sex? X

Congratulations! I'm due 28th Aug. We had a miscarriage back in October so we are delighted to find out so quickly.

We have told our parents, just because they will know as soon as I don't touch alcohol tomorrow.

We are going to try and leave the sex a surprise.

@MumToBeMaz Congratulations on your rainbow 🌈! I have to admit I nearly burst when I found out so I have told my mum but we are going to keep it a secret aside from that until we know everything is ok !The first scan can’t come soon enough !

You are right about alcohol ... my Nan tried to give me a bottle of wine but I politely declined . She asked why and I told her I was on medication for now !! I hate telling porky pies but I’m sure she will understand when she finds out 😊

Ah thank you. Just hoping all goes well this time. Trying to take it one day at a time but it's too tempting to look at cute clothes etc. We have also just reserved a newbuild house to move into in June. So also thinking about room decor. Need to wind myself in a bit, haha.

Last time we were both wanting a wee boy but now that I've seen the girls clothes out there, I want a girl, ahhaha. What about you?

@MumToBeMaz it definitely is very tempting ! Coming on MN you see so many horror stories so as much as I would love to go out and buy things tomorrow if I could I will hold out a little while ! I have convinced OH to pay for an early private scan - what with everything going on around us at the moment that extra reassurance is necessary ! He is in the Navy so he may miss a few things throughout ! So I think it will make it a little more realistic as well !

Funny you say that ! I was saying to OH last night about all the pretty winter dresses and fluffy coats ! And fluffy all in ones ! Seems to be so much more clothes out there for girls ! So we would love a little girl as well but as long as it’s healthy that’s all that matters . We can only seem to agree on girls names as well !

@Sophh321! Congratulations - me too! I’ve got very heavy sore and sensitive boobs ! I am also going for a wee loads ! I was also a week late but that’s common for me so I didn’t think too much into it ( irregular periods ) !My partner new I was pregnant before I did! 🥰

@gypsywater- I know it is the most common annoying phrase ! But it was just me relaxing ! We DTD at least every other day ! I’ve been very stressed about my partner being in the navy but now I have excepted it it’s happened !Also - he has quit smoking and I’ve been eating healthily so I think that has contributed !!🥰 it happened within a couple of months !
