Bath water smelled like bleach

I normally rinse the baths before going in and I always rinse it good. While I was in the bath the water smelled a little bit like bleach now I'm worried that somehow bleach got in the bath

If you have run a full bath the bleach will be so diluted it won't cause any harm. I use neat bleach for cleaning all the time and the worst is a bit of dry skin on my hands. Stop worrying.

Chlorine is added in low concentrations to tap water in the UK. Sometimes you can smell it in the water. Maybe it was this? The level is chlorine added to tap water is safe for drinking so would be safe for bathing.

When you're pregnant your sense of smell enhances.

I think this is hormone related. Water has very small amounts of chlorine in it. In each pregnancy I have been able to smell this quite strongly. Heightened sense of smell is really common.
