Bloody show 38 weeks

Hey!

I woke up this morning to what I thought was my bloody show or plug (pink/ brown mucus). I've had a fairly busy day but have had normal white pregnancy discharge since.

I haven't had anything other than the usual aches and pains that comes with being 38 weeks and running after a toddler.

Has anyone else gone back to normal discharge after a pink/ brown mucus situation?

Any advice, should I still expect labour to be sooner rather than later or is it just one of those things that no one knows a solid answer to?

Any stories/ tips welcome! X

I recall things getting a bit weird at the end - am sure I lost some of it earlier. And then a bit more. And then loads on the day I went into labour a couple of weeks later.
