Ultrasound 6+6 - what's the circle?

Hi ladies,

I had an ultrasound a few days ago at 6 weeks 6 days and saw my little peanuts heart flickering away 🥰
The sonographer talked us through everything we saw on the screen and all seemed pretty easy and straight forward.
When we got the pics, I noticed a black circle in the bottom left of the picture. I thought this would have still been part of my uterus, but if it was then would be grey like the rest?
Has anyone else had a circle like this before, or know what it could be? I'm assuming it's just a shadow of some form, but did have a mild panic last night when I thought I might be the sac of a second baby that was missed 🤣

It's fluid so potentially your bladder. They won't have missed a baby don't worry x

Thanks for the reply October. Apparently my bladder is the black area above baby. He specifically mentioned this as he complimented me on how full it was 🤣 so not sure that the bottom left would also be bladder?

Don’t think the black area above baby can be bladder, it’s too big? I think that would be the outside!

That area is outside the uterus -not a second baby. Bladder is at the top of the pic. It looks like it may just be USS shadowing, will be an area of bowel or possibly ovary, maybe a little fluid, all normal and seriously nothing to worry about.

Thanks all 😊
