No movement at all 19 weeks - 2nd baby

Just wondering if anyone else is in the same position? I have an anterior placenta but with ds I still felt movement from 17 weeks and placenta was at the front then. I can't help but feel paranoid. I had bleeding from 6-12 weeks (turned out it was a cervical ectroption). Called my midwife who offered to see me to listen to heartbeat, as I didn't get the usual 16 week appointments because of covid. But then couldn't see me as I had no one to look after ds and gp rules mean I can't bring him.

Some people don’t feel baby at all until 24 weeks, even without the anterior placenta. At 19 weeks baby is still small enough that they can be in a position where you won’t feel them.

No exact experience but I have an anterior and felt baby from 22 weeks. Another friend has the same and even though she's ahead of me she can't feel her baby as much. So I think it's the placement as well as the type of placenta.

Find a way to be seen when you can as that is the only thing to make you completely rest x

So hard not to worry isn't it OP!

I had anterior placenta with 2nd baby and I didn't feel her till about 21w. Hope that gives you some comfort Thanks

Thank you everyone Flowers. This pregnancy has been so different to my first, also doesn't help that I haven't seen a midwife at all and won't until 28 weeks. (Bar the phone call booking appointment). Not long until my scan, will just keep concentrating on seeing If i can feel movement!

@Moandy I was worried like you! I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks when I felt tiny little flutters. Try not to worry all pregnancies and babies are different. I'm now 40 weeks and baby girl does not stop moving 🤣💞 XX

I’m 19 weeks and also worried after feeling baby I couldn’t feel him for a good few days 😭 luckily I had a scan (anomaly) and baby was absolutely fine just had his back to me so was kicking so I couldn’t feel - it’s so hard not to worry isn’t it I totally get it as I was terrified - is there no way you can get another appointment booked in for a midwife to hear heartbeat? X

I had an anterior placenta with my first and didn’t feel him move until 25 weeks. I was warned that it was common to feel them quite late due to the placenta acting like a cushion and not to worry about it. X

I am 20w tomorrow, still I was not able to feel any movements!! Couple of days I felt something but maybe that was wishful thinking which I could never feel again till now.. fingers crossed 🤞🤞
