Since coming off the pill about 10months ago (FEB 2020) my period have been very regular, I track them and they last about 3/4days. Unfortunately I didn’t track in November and now can’t remember if I had a period or not. Period hasn’t come yet in dec. my cycles are are about 32 days. I haven’t had any period cramps which I usually do (quite painful). And I’ve had very very mild sore breasts (usually I get tender breasts each month). I’ve had the odd twinge yesterday were period pains usually happen. I took a test yesterday it was negative. I’m not trying to a baby yet. And so I am worried about being pregnant.

If you’re having unprotected sex there’s always a chance you might be pregnant but if the test is negative you’re probably in the clear.

The other things is I’ve had a huge appetite and feel tired almost exhausted just doing a normal day’s activity

If you think you’re pregnant, all sorts of normal things (like feeling tired, going to the loo more etc...) take on all sorts of significance that they just don’t have.

If you’ve got a negative test, you’re very unlikely to be pregnant if your period is late.

How long do I wait until I see the gp if I missed a period ? Should I wait and see if my period comes in January? And then if it doesn’t see the gp then?

If you aren't trying for a baby yet then why come off of the pill? Sorry I'm confused. Symptoms like tiredness and sore breasts sound like what I had when in early pregnancy. I would re test if you don't come on during the rest of this month.

I came off the pill due to me forgetting to take to take it properly and also mood swings. Since coming off of it my periods and mental health have been so so much better.

What are you using for contraception instead? A coil sounds like it could be a good option if you don’t want to be pregnant.

I’m using condoms. I’m sceptical of using anything else due to maybe wanting to get pregnant in the next 2 years.
