Yes I'm due 1st Feb with my first baby, so exciting and daunting now.

I have really bad pelvic pain and severely anaemic but other than that I'm thriving. How are you?

lollypop345 · 15/12/2020 23:29

@Megalala hey! My first too :D do you know what you're having or keeping it a surprise?

I'm really anaemic too. Are you having an iron infusion? I'm taking 3 pills a day at the moment but my body just isn't absorbing. Hip and rib pain is bad, and the acid reflux is awful but other than that all good!

Can I join, I’m due February 7th with my second Grin

Morning ladies, I’m due 1st Feb too! Also had some pelvic pain and starting to feel tired but doing OK. Has anyone started raspberry leaf tea yet? I know you have to build up but not sure when to start or how much to take!

Good morning,

I'm having a girl, what about everyone else? I wanted a surprise but since my partner couldn't come to nhs appointments we had a private one and we found out then. Anyone else know what their bundles are?

I'm starting my raspberry leaf tea next week at 34 weeks. I read you can start having it from 32.

lollypop345 · 16/12/2020 10:12

I'm having a girl ❤️

I'm going to start raspberry leaf tea next week I think, I believe it's one cup a day and then from 37 weeks two cups? Not 100% sure. A lot of people in a Facebook group I'm in say it did nothing for them in their last birth and others say it definitely helped.

I'm also going to get an aniball and use from 37 weeks. My baby is looking to be rather large so I really want to do anything possible to reduce my chances of a bad tear!

My hospital bag is basically ready to go. Spent so long researching and hopefully have everything I need!

@lollypop345 oh how lovely another girl, I feel like it's the year of the girls. Most people I know who are pregnant are having girls.

I've heard mixed reviews of the raspberry tea too but willing to give it a go.
I also have a big baby apparently measuring 4 weeks ahead and she's breech so unless she turns I will be having a c section.

Taking the same amount of iron as you it seems and trying to eat iron rich foods so I don't have to have any more. Got another blood test booked for next week so hopefully it will be ok.

I haven't done my hospital bag yet but will do it this weekend.
Do you feel like your pregnancy has gone fast? I do and don't at the same time.

lollypop345 · 16/12/2020 12:42

@Megalala yes I agree, lots of expected girls I know of!

Hopefully yours turns soon! I think my MW said if not by 36 weeks then they will try to turn baby with some sort of massage...

All I know is she is measuring above the 98th percentile at my last two appts. She was breech at 28 week appt and position wasn't checked at 32 weeks but I hope they do at my 34 week appt on Monday. I feel kicks everywhere so I have no idea myself haha.

Blood test next week too - hopefully will be ok.

It seemed really slow at the start, I had horrendous sickness too which didn't help. But since about 21 weeks it has flown by. I feel like I'm wishing time away though as also waiting to move house in January. I can't do my nursery or anything baby wise in my current house and want it all to be ready and for us to feel settled there for when she arrives, so I am desperate to move but there's always delay after delay and Xmas closures thrown in the middle. Couldn't have picked a worse time to move really!!

I’m also having a girl and it’s still not sunk in. I was so adamant I “knew” it was a boy as I was right with my first pregnancy.
I might have to have a c section as well as my placenta is low but only have a couple of weeks till my next scan so should know then.
How’s everyone been so far? I was so Ill the first 12 weeks I was grateful for lockdown so I wasn’t ever away from the bathroom Sad but thankfully apart from repeatedly being tested for gestational diabetes everything’s been fine and uneventful which is the absolute polar opposite to my first pregnancy.

lollypop345 · 18/12/2020 14:55

@Youvegotafriendinme I just knew from day 1 it was a girl, I would have been really shocked if at my scans it was a boy! Aww bless you. Fingers crossed! I was really ill until I got my meds sorted at about 15 weeks, so grateful too for lockdown as I just couldn't move at all. Could not have coped with going into work!

I've had 3 tests so far for GD but always comes back fine. Worried as they aren't doing the normal GTT they are missing it as I have been tracking my sugars and they are sometimes sky high, baby measuring big too.

I've been suffering with really bad aches and pains in my fingers for a few weeks. They have pins and needles all night and then I can barely move them all day! Weird one.

Wow a house move and a baby nearly fully cooked will be a challenge, no doubt you'll smash it though.

I was convinced I was having a boy too so was shocked when we found it we are having a girl. I'd say a good shock though.

I'm tired and so much more snappy than usual, feel myself losing my cool much easier. Not sure if hormones or I'm just having a bad week.

Packing our hospital bags this weekend which is making it all so real.
