Hi Ladies,

I'm new to the site and was wondering if anyone could give me advice.
I had my implant removed on the 1st of October, my period for October and November was uninterrupted.
My period was due to start yesterday.

I took two tests this afternoon, and they were virtually the same, with a very faint line. Although on both the lines are a bit off centre.

If successful, this will be my first child. I have yet to tell my fiancée about taking the test. He (like myself) is really enthusiastic about us starting a family, but I don't know when the right time as I worry it'll be too early... to give you a bit of context, he works offshore so I see him 2 weeks in every six. Can anyone offer me any advice?

Ps - sending lots of love and good thoughts to all of you love ladies during this very trying festive season x

If you’re period is late I would expect a definite line. But you should use first morning urine as it has the highest concentration of the hormone. By the afternoon it’s been diluted a fair bit. Test again with your first wee of the day

Agree with above test in the morning and if there is a line then I normally splash out on a clear blue digital to be certain.
