7 weeks pregnant after 3 miscarriages- no cramps

Hi all I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant after 3 miscarriages this year. We are trying for our first child.
I’m on progesterone pessaries and aspirin. At the start of this pregnancy I had bad cramps and trapped wind- was constipated etc. I had a scan last week at 6 weeks and it was all fine, saw the baby’s heartbeat the dr said it was a strong heartbeat. Since then I’ve had no cramps at all which I’m worrying about. Is this normal not to have any cramps? My nausea seems to be coming and going too. Obviously after 3 miscarriages my anxiety is through the roof. I am waiting for my call from the midwife next week to talk about counselling x

I'd take no cramps as a good sign! I'm pregnant with my 3rd and never had cramps when pregnant

I’m just over 8 weeks and have noticed my cramps have all settled a lot since around the 6 week mark. I don’t know if this is normal but just thought I’d offer some reassurance as you’re not alone there! I had a viability scan at 6+4 and saw baby’s heartbeat, and my other symptoms (feeling exhausted, sore boobs, nausea etc) are all still there so I’m not worried that the cramps have settled down. I think it’s very normal for these things to come and go - fingers crossed for both of us 🤞

I’m almost 10w pregnant with my third child and I have never experienced the cramps I have read about others having.
Every pregnancy is different. Please try not to worry

I can’t thank you all enough for replying. I very much appreciate it. Sometimes I get so anxious I think I just need someone to take some sense into me 😩 x

I’ve been in a similar situation with multiple early losses. Am now 14 weeks and had early cramps until around 6 weeks which then settled. All seems fine so far! It took a long time to trust that this pregnancy might work out.

It’s really good that you’ve seen a heartbeat Smile

I'm pregnant with DC2 (currently 25 weeks) and never had any cramps with either pregnancy. I actually had almost no early symptoms with either of my pregnancies, no sickness, no nausea, no food aversions, no cramps. Nothing. Literally the only "symptom" I have that is noticeably due to pregnancy is terrible heartburn. Had it both times and it's bloody awful. But had i not been actively TTC and other than the lack of period, I'd have absolutely no idea I was pregnant, and both my pregnancies have been textbook (FINGERS CROSSED). I hope that helps alleviate some anxiety m to know that no symptoms absolutely doesn't mean there's anything to worry about.

Just an update I rang my midwife she said not to worry as long as I’ve still got symptoms and am not bleeding. Thank you all for replying xxx

Hello. Well done for getting to 7 weeks. These will be really hard weeks now getting up to 12 weeks (your chances of a healthy pregnancy will be much higher after this milestone).

I have had 4 pregnancies, 1 healthy, 2 miscarriages and currently 34 weeks pregnant. I have never had cramps and only had cramps just before one of the mc.

With this hopefully healthy pregnancy I stopped feeling sick at 8 weeks and was terrified. We went for a scan and all was fine and I was a week further than I thought. I share this as it so scary and I hope all will be fine for you.

Hi all thank you for your support I managed to book an earlier scan today and it confirmed my worries. I’ve had another missed miscarriage x
