Hi, I had a chemical pregnancy in July :-(
Caught again this month and not sure if the lines are supposed to be darker than this.
Top test was yesterday - 3 days after expected period... and bottom is today... day 4.
I'm just worried my hcg isn't going up fast enough.
Has anybody got any photos of progression and can let me know if this is normal. Thank you x

Could you get boots strip tests or a first response tests?
The Internet cheapies are not a good measure of line progression IME...

I have some clearblue digital but I'm waiting a few days to do them as I'm scared :-( x

I agree, could you get yourself a pack of 2 FRER? They give much clearer results than IC’s. Best of luck!

I have some first response getting delivered tomo 😁
Hoping for some nice dark lines x

IC’s are only just just dark for me now and I’m 5+5. I used FRER early on and they were much better, I did a test every 2-3 days until it was really dark then stopped. I think you can get a pack of 2 6 day early FRER’s from Amazon for around £7.00 at the minute.

Hi yes the first response early tests have arrived... I'm going to test in the morning :-)
Fingers crossed x

Do you think this is dark enough for 6 days after period is due?
Getting anxious about it not getting dark enough x

Are they wondfo tests? I used them this time and they stresses me out, took ages to get darker then did all of a sudden. The frer looks good to me, you might have ovulated a bit later as well.

Good luck

SunnySideUp2020 · 15/12/2020 07:52

@StaceyW87
The frer is not as dark as expected for being 6 days past missed periods but you might ovulate later (very common) and so it's normal.
Try not to worry too much. The line is clear so you are pregnant.
Congrats!

Thank you for replying. It's just nice to chat to women about it lol.
My other half said if you hadn't tested days ago and woke up this morning thinking I'm late for my period - i would be overjoyed with them tests...
The top one is frer and the other is an internet cheapy x

I wouldn't worry about the darkness of the test. With ds I didn't even test positive until 2 days after my missed period or 16dpo. My ovulation was confirmed too. My tests didn't get darker very quickly. We are all different. The frer weren't that great for me.

I never got a dark line on a frer , which worried me but the cheap sticks got progressively darker , I used them every 2 days rather than every day at the start.
