I'm suffering badly with hip pain today - I've just sobbed into OH about it
It's been niggling away for weeks but today , it's took a sinister turn
If I lie on my back in bed to watch tv , after a couple of mins I get the most painful burning sensation in my right hip , when I have to turn , it get s worse
The burning sensation is there but it genuinely feels as if bones are going to snap

It radiates from lower back , to my hips & feels deep in the bones & muscles
It's become much worse now , I'm thinking of taking early maternity so I can cry in peace 😂

Anyone else experience this & can offer advice ?

Could it be pelvic girdle pain? Definitely speak to your doctor about it. Really hope you feel better soon.

@Ksi91
That's definitely pelvic girdle pain.
It's not something the doctor can make go away over night. But they can recommend physio (sadly Zoom). I've had a few sessions, as like you some days I'm a complete cripple.
The best thing is those blow up exercise balls - I do 10 mins a day and it's made a difference.
Crossing your legs aggravates it, so try to stop that if you normal sit crossed over on the sofa.
I have a pregnancy pillow to support the pelvis at night.
I also sit on a tennis ball to help the pressure.
It's chicken and egg, as you don't feel like going for a walk, but lying there day in day out makes it worse xx
