Hi all.

Got my first faint positive at 8DPO. Now 14 DPO and the tests are not getting any darker. I’m so worried. Here’s the pic of today.

Anyone had this and it was a positive outcome?

My period is due tomorrow

Thanks so much.

So I had no line progression on IC and I had a dye stealer on FRER the day AF was due so I'll admit I may not be best placed to answer but I didn't want to read and run. Pregnancy tests detect HCG, it's a positive or negative result. Some people see line progression, some don't. The only sure way to know if your HCG is rising is to get a blood test. But I hope this reassures you that the darkness of the lines don't mean you're more or less pregnant. So assuming the line came up within the time window: congratulations OP.

Thank you! Ahh I didn’t realize that some people don’t have line progression. I did with my first baby, so kind of expecting the same.

Have dinner booked for tomorrow Ana wondering if I’m ok to have a few drinks. Sort of had this pregnancy written off, maybe I should be more careful now!

I'm now 15 weeks and yes they got stronger every day xx

evenmoreforthemoor · 12/12/2020 21:34

From my experience especially with FRER, the line has progressed in every healthy pregnancy I have had.

The only time it didn't was when I Mc (twice).

8 days is very early to see a result so the lack of progression may be down to this.

Basically, no one knows and only time will tell.

It's shit.

Sorry OP. Fingers crossed everything goes ok for you.

Thanks guys. I have a bit of a bad feeling about it. But the hope is fighting through.

Just want to know one way or the other!

Super strong lines don't necessarily mean its good new either! Mine most certainly didn't. It just gave me false hope

kittyz · 12/12/2020 22:53

That’s what mine looked like at 15dpo , it then got darker over the following week. Xx

kittyz · 13/12/2020 20:34

Thank you!!! Can’t believe the lines are getting darker. So hopeful now. Hope it sticks for me xxx

They look good now but as another poster said dark lines doesn't mean anything either

I had a full dark lines and rising hormones with my miscarriage July 2020

kittyz · 13/12/2020 23:27

Thanks for that positivity. Hmm
