How consistently were you feeling movement around 23/24 weeks?

Hi everyone. I am 23+3 today and have been feeling movement since around 20ish weeks. Some days I can feel him moving a lot then others it’s just a few times during the day. I have an anterior placenta which I know can affect how often you feel movement. I would love to hear other peoples experience x

@sophi1207 I am also 23+3 and have felt him move loads today but only felt him a bit yesterday, my placenta is also at the front and I think that can prevent the softer movements from being as obvious. If your worried at any point though you should phone your midwife.

Hi there
I felt flutters quite early for it being my first, around 18 weeks. I'd say they got a bit stronger by 22-24 weeks but like you some days more than others (mostly evenings) I got a bit worried at one point going from a day of lots to a day of not so much movement. Fast forward now to 27 weeks and I'm feeling much more movement all throughout day and night, even overnight when I wake! It's so strong now it makes me jump!! So I think it's maybe normal at your stage that baby isn't in a proper pattern yet but as others say always chat to midwife if you're worried x

not consistently at all at that stage – certainly not every day until around week 26

Quite a lot but don't worry if you are not. When you have your ante natal appointments the medics will no doubt be able to reassure you.

I had a friend who did not feel her baby move once throughout her entire pregnancy and her baby was perfect, now a woman (and a mother) in her forties.

I'm 23+2. My only pattern so far is every evening after dinner, but the past couple of days he has been moving A LOT with some really strong kicks.

I also have an anterior placenta and there have been a couple of days where I've barely felt him.

@sophi1207 i am 24 weeks tomorrow and anterior placenta too.
Some day i feel her kick like crazy and some are quieter. And even during the day there s part of the day where it's constant and parts where i don't feel her for a couple of hours.
I think it's normal...

I’m 24 weeks and can feel baby a lot more now, I can now feel her when I’m up and about rather than just laying down or when I’m very still. I have a posterior placenta however my first baby I had an anterior placenta and felt barely anything until i was 25 weeks.

I started feeling the little one about 17 weeks, at first only every few days then I thought she was in a regular pattern and ended up at maternity assessment centre about 24 weeks cos I hadn't felt her for 24 hours, got checked and everything was fine. I'm now 30+3 and I still don't think she's in a regular pattern, some days I feel her loads then others barely at all, spoke to the midwife about it and she said some babies have a pattern of maybe a few hours where as others could be a few days. I still worry though but know theres always the maternity assesment centre if I need them 🙂
