I've been feeling so great this whole pregnancy and now today I feel awful! Had back pain for 3 days now but no sign of baby coming anytime soon.

I could just cry and stay in bed all day!! Fed up of everyone telling me how to get labour started with curry, pineapple etc!

Anyone else felt fed up at the end and have any tips to get through it??

You poor thing. I went to 42 weeks with my first and it was hell. I'm having a ELCS this time at 39 weeks and the relief I feel at not going overdue is immense.

As none worked for me I have no tips to bring on labour, all I can suggest is reading lots of books to pass the time (I did Lucinda Rileys Sister series, excellent) at least 2 walks a day and give yourself a break, as soon as baby is here it'll be a distant memory I promise xx

Thank you, I am probably just feeling sorry for myself haha. 2 weeks must have been horrible, bless you.

I'll have a look at those books, I think I just need to enjoy the peace and quiet before the baby is here haha. X

Hi OP

I've just reached my due date today so not over but I am fed up as I have no signs that labour is imminent! Its soo frustrating when all you have is people texting/messaging etc asking if you're anywhere near, to have a curry, sex, exercise... Luckily I have a sweep booked in for Monday so hoping that moves things along if ge hasn't arrived over the weekend. I have done a lot of walking and using the stairs and birthing ball today and feel tighter than usual so maybe that helps? Who knows :) they will come when they are ready. I hope your LO dosent keep you waiting too long though! X

Hi @Shawla92

It really is isn't it haha. It's the not knowing I hate, like it could just be anytime and I won't have a clue when!
My sweep is Monday as well, I hope they work for us. I need to do more walking really, I just have no energy right now. I thought the back pain was a sign of something starting but nope!

Let me know how you get on with the sweep! Maybe we will both have babies by Tuesday Smile

Xx

I’m not even at my due date yet (39+3) and feeling fed up!

I’m sick of feeling like I need the toilet all the time & just the general weight.

I’m also really sick of the messages from people saying “any sign” “just checking in” “how you getting on”. Urgh, I know people are being nice but to just want to be left alone!
