Early pregnancy stresses

Hello, my first time on here. Just wanting a bit of advice really, I had a missed miscarriage back in July this year then fell pregnant again and should be around 9 weeks now. Because of the miss carriage I have been very anxious and had an early scan and 6 weeks, could only see the yolk at this point so rearranged a second scan 2 weeks later. I measured at 6 weeks at this point which they were concerned as was expecting more progress, we thought we saw a flicker of a heartbeat but again unsure so went for a third scan yesterday. This scan we saw even less! Couldn't even see the fetal pole or heat beat, off to the hospital for a further scan this afternoon but I am so worried it is going to be another missed miss carriage.....

I've read so many peoples stories on here and wondered if anyone else had similar experience?

Hi there, abdominal scans are notoriously unreliable at this early stage. Hopefully you can have a transvaginal one with the NHS and get a clearer picture. Keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

That's the thing, I did have a transvaginal one yesterday. Thank you though, I am literally keeping everything crossed for today x

Only measured at 5.6mm, they’ve asked me to go back in a week to see if there’s any change. If not then it’ll be a failed pregnancy 😢

I'm really sorry to hear that. Wishing you strength this week xx
