Anyone had a positive result before a period?

Hi,
I posted the other day about having symptoms - feeling nauseous, sore boobs, cramping in my lower abdomen I still have 4 days till my period but I keep getting a negative result (I used first response test) Has anyone else had this and got a BFP in the end? Thanks if anyone can help xx

Yes 12dpo I got an extremely faint line. Wasn't due my period for another 2 days. Was negative in days before 12dpo.

First response are very sensitive and would normally show at least a faint line by 4 days before your period. Could you have ovulated late?

I did a test around 10dpo and got a negative, did another at 15dpo and got my positive. I'd advise against testing early, you get disappointed when its a BFN but then still hope it's just too early.

Thank you for the replies. I think I just need to hold off with testing so early as it does get my Hope's up to then be brought back down when it's a BFN. I use several apps to help track my ovulation days ect. Think I'm going to wait to see if my period comes or not I've not had any period pains yet which I normally get xx

My period came early and very heavy, sadly. Fingers crossed for next month xx
