My mum came round this weekend and brought along a bottle of her favourite tipple, and I was someone gobsmacked to see this on the label!

Now I'm not a big drinker, and have had maybe 2 half-glasses of wine in the whole 4 months that I've been pregnant. But my goodness, that offensive and condescending label just makes me want to down a whole bottle!!

Do they think we're all completely hormone-addled, brain dead and completely incapable of thinking for ourselves? "No pregnant women" signs on wine bottles!?! What next!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!

LOL!!! I think its kinds funny! Wouldn't it be helpful if EVERYTHING had picture instructions?

Not wanting to be devil's advocate, but no, it doesn't bother me in the slightest - in the same way that cigarette packets marked "can cause fatal diseases" or "premature birth" etc doesn't bother me, only in so much that someone might ignore the warning...

Maybe the photo is to get around language barriers? Not everyone who is pregnant in the UK speaks or reads English. And its a new piece of advice, this absolutely no booze route, isn't it?

that is the worst thing i have ever seen, much worse than maggots. I hate it.

I have just been sick.
