Red hot ichy feet when standing

I am 32 weeks, recently when I stand for a short while (shower, makeup, drying hair etc) my feet get really red, hot and itchy! Takes a while for them to calm down once I've sat. I am seeing my midwife today so I will ask, I just wondered if anyone else has experienced the same thing?

Yes!! I've never asked what this is though but I expect it's the increased blood going into your legs and feet. Xx

I would definitely speak to your midwife. I've read that itching hands and feet can be a sign of obstetric cholestasis, which is a serious condition. It might be nothing, but worth looking into!

I have this sometimes after an extended period standing.
Didn't think much of it...
It is unpleasant but calms down once i take shoes off and put my legs up.

I get this when not pregnant. Doctor said it's due to poor circulation so the blood is going down to your legs and feet
