Hi ftm here 29 weeks 4 days i rung midwife up about stomach pains the other night and she just said take paracetamol. However last time i went to hospital they said my baby girl was underweight and aprox 950g at 28 weeks. Ive had white discharge throughout my pregnancy and this past week its gotten more plus the pains around my ribs and at bottom of my bra should i trust her that nothings wrong because im so worried that something is or am i being silly. And if they wont listen to my concerns how can i get them to help me?

Can you call your hospital triage number? They have the equipment to scan and monitor if needed, and will give you another view.

I would call triage. They will probably want you to go in and be checked over. Better to be safe than sorry.
I don't think I ever called my midwife except once to say I wasn't coming to my appointment that afternoon as I was in labour Confused

Call ur hospital as they will be more than happy to see you x

Well, nobody will know how much your baby's weight actually is until it is born. Weights based on growth scans are only estimates and can be quite significantly out. But an estimated weight of 950g at 28 weeks would be within the normal range, judging by Google. And it would be a sonographer not a midwife who calculated that. Are you sure they didn't just say that estimated weight was below the 50th percentile? Which would be perfectly normal and not at all concerning?

White discharge and rib pain are also both very normal in pregnancy. If you have any concerns, please do speak to triage, but nothing you've said sounds like a reason not to trust your MW.

It was triage that i rung but if they arent worried and these things seem normal i guess am just a worried first timer. Thanks for everyones message

White discharge is normal in pregnancy and it can increase in the third trimester. Rib pain is also common as everything is squashing up to make room for your growing baby. Your babies weight seems about right too.
I know it can be worrying but try to relax a little bit.
