TTC after the depo Vera injection!

Hello everyone,

I’m just wondering if anyone has any tips on TTC after having the depo, I was on it for about 2 years, my last one was due in april, so last injection was the beginning of April. I had a period, 55 days, not a proper period but bleeding and spotting on and off. I then had a ‘normal’ period in august which would time right after stopping you previous bleeding in July. But I now haven’t had a period at all, all I see is people getting pregnant and it’s getting me down! any tips please?🥲

Depo can delay rerurn of fertility for up to a year, sometimes longer. Fingers crossed you dont need to wait as long as that

Thank you, I’ve heard lots of different things. My body clearly hasn’t gone back to ‘normal’ I’ll just try not to stress about it & go with the flow!😓

Took me over 2 years I'm afraid. I had last injection November 2012 so in theory started wearing off February 2013. Didn't get any kind of bleeding at all until April 2014. Cycles then erratic and ranging from 15 days to 59 days till about November 2014. DC1 was conceived May 2015.

But it is much quicker for many women.

Any tips on getting pregnant at age 48?

P.s. I gave birth at 40 and 46 with two healthy babies. First time trying.
