Anyone had cramping when AF would be due?

This is my first, had my BFP three days ago and AF is due Sunday. I've got uterine cramping and random pains similar to AF, I know this is normal but would just like to hear from someone who had this and then went on to have a healthy pregnancy 🙂

Yep I had cramping the day I took a test (day before period)

I was so convinced my period was coming I actually got the shock of my life when it was positive despite us trying!

I also had some brown discharge.

I'm now 25+5 and baby is lovely and healthy so far.

That's great to hear ☺️ I can't stop worrying and time seems to be going at snail speed.. when Sunday passes I'll feel a lot better I think! X

Every single pregnancy has involved period-type cramps for me and I've never miscarried.

I've taken another test this morning and the line is weaker than before but trying not to read into it as I have insomnia and tend to sleep in 1-4 hour intervals and then always get up needing to pee which I did about 1 AM.

Same as @borntohula, in fact I had cramps much more when I was pregnant than when I was due my period.
