I just can't be bothered today. It is a grey day in London. My pelvis is hurting and I'm just not in the mood.

I have to record how my time is being spent at my work so I can't even have a lazy afternoon and just make up for it another day :(

First world problems and would rather be pregnant than not but honestly can't we just get paid and not work🤣

Yup same. I'm a childminder and 32 weeks. I'm done in. I also have my own 2 kids but they're at school. I can't really loft the kids anymore had terrible hg until about 3 weeks ago but the smell of nappies is killing me, not to mention the fact I can gmhardly reach round the bump to change the nappies.
I start at 7.30 and have to be all chipper and happy when I've only had about 3 hours sleep because I'm so sore and need to pee 147 times a night. I just could stay in bed all day, but even that is uncomfortable.
Luckily I stop in 2 weeks.

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion oh poor you! 2 weeks is a nice amount to countdown. The lack of sleep really doesn't help.

I'm normally quite positive but I think because I know a break at Christmas is coming I'm mentally giving up already.

It might just have to be a bad day and try again tomorrow!

Yup I think I'm worse because I know I'm finishing up soon. Its dragging in. Hoping for youbhave left to work?

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 03/12/2020 12:28

That was supposed to say, how long do you have left to work?

LouJ85 · 03/12/2020 12:42

I'll join in the moan. I'm 21 weeks and suffering awful backache which is affecting my sleep badly. I've had not much sleep at all and trying to concentrate on work, it's really hard! I also have soooo long left to go of this Sad

Grumpy19 · 03/12/2020 14:06

I'll moan!!
I do a job where I have to be super positive and professional at all times and it's doing my head in!!

Leopardprintx · 03/12/2020 14:27

Currently feeling the same, working from home but finding the energy to get out of bed and turn my computer on in a morning is such a task!!

I've felt fine up until this week, I think seeing no one day in day out is getting to me and I have no motivation to do work Sad

serialplanner · 03/12/2020 15:52

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion I have 10 weeks left so an age but hopefully Christmas speeds it up.

My pelvic pain the big problem otherwise ai'm earlier enough to get on with it. It's hard as pregnancy affects us all so different some of the women at my work are older and just got on with it and I know it's a luxury with working at home but we don't know any different so it's still hard.

@LouJ85 I'm with you. I'm in the 20s too - 25 weeks.

Have you spoken to the midwife about your back? I only ask because with the pelvic they reccomend me for physio and all the tips and tricks have really helped. A birthing ball, support belt, back support for my chair etc.

The sleep is so tough. We need 2 hour lunch breaks for naps!

@Grumpy19 perfect name lol

Poor you and @Iminaglasscaseofemotion with the positive requiring jobs. Saints!!

Have you got long left?

@Leopardprintx it's very hard to do and if you are very worried about covid obviously don't bother but Tuesday I got up walked to get a hot chocolate then came home and got ready for work and it was a dry morning with the sun and it was a bit better then straight to laptop. Or waking up a bit before work rather than straight to the laptop.

It's not appealing when the sleep has been rubbish but a mix up can help.

Either way ladies all of us are in the right month to countdown. Christmas makes it go quick!

@LouJ85

I had the same with back pain fro. About 9 weeks! I asked my midwife at my first face to face app but she was useless.
I've actually found by about 28 weeks it got a bit better. Onky now if I over do it it gets really bad and by the end of the night its bad, but generally better during the day. Not sure if its the baby moving up or something but hopefully it eases off for you and you @serialplanner.

LouJ85 · 03/12/2020 17:55

@serialplanner - I will mention it to my midwife if it doesn't get any better soon - thanks for the suggestions.

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion thanks I hope it eases soon too! Glad yours has got a little better
