Ovulation and pregnancy dating after an early miscarriage

Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice?
I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks about 3 weeks ago and have wondered if I could be ovulating as normal already?
Did those of you that have experienced this ovulate as normal the next cycle? Is pregnancy likely straight away or am I going to be messed up for a while?

I usually ov’d cd14 but after the mmc surgery management I ov’d cd20. I did fall pregnant that cycle without waiting for a period.

I had a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage at around 5 weeks early October and found out I was pregnant the following month having had no period in between. I can only assume I ovulated early as only had sex in the first 7-10 days after the loss and I would usually ovulate around day 14/16 before this. Hope that helps

I think I must have ovulated around the same time, but I never tracked. Got pregnant that next cycle so never had a period in between. My dates are based on the first day of my chemical bleed being CD1

Just to update you all. I had an early scan yesterday and dated at 8 weeks 2 days so I conceived 4 days after my chemical pregnancy/miscarriage bleed. The gynaecologist said you usually ovulate straight away after a loss.

@DMT1982 did they offer you a dating scan because you didn't know how far along you were due to the miscarriage?

@peacheswife no they didn’t just normal 12 week one x

My period went back to exact dates straight after my miscarriage so it is possible

I do know you usually ovulate straight away a lot of the time are they usually say you are at a higher chance of getting pregnant after a miscarriage.
