Hi all,

Anyone have a miscarriage in November and know what they will do next?

I had my second consecutive mc at the end of Nov - first was anembryonic and previous one was a MMC at 12 weeks and baby stopped growing at 8.
I had a MVA procedure with this one.

Anyone else been in a similar boat? What were your experiences like?

Hi OP I’m sorry for your loss.

I’ve been in your position twice. I had a chemical then 3 miscarriages before I had my daughter in 2018. Then I had a miscarriage at 6 wks, a MMC and a miscarriage at 10.5 wks before my current pregnancy.

For me it felt right just to keep trying. After my 3rd miscarriage this time I went to the recurrent mc clinic where they did some investigations all of which came back normal. I gave up all alcohol and caffeine and we tried again. I’m now 13 wks and had 3 ok scans - desperately hoping this is a sticky one.

I know how hard it is to be where you are. Be kind to yourself. Don’t feel you have to try again straight away if you don’t want to. It is definitely still possible to have a healthy baby after recurrent losses though xx
