Baby measuring 1672g at 32 weeks?

Is this normal? At my 27 week scan baby was above the middle line on the chart now it's below and they'll have be back in 3 weeks as the line of babys growth may go below the bottom line.

My bumps not huge but im very petite and a ftm.

Any positive stories about baby weight and bump size in general?

I honestly don't think that's too bad? For context, my dd2 was born at 29 weeks and weighed 980g. Dd1 at 37 weeks at 2800g (I think).

@user1471530109 oh wow! thats reassuring. Just got a few comments about my bump being small and I eat fine but some days eat less because nothing sounds appealing. 🙄

I agree with @user1471530109, I don't think you've anything to worry about. DS was born at 37 weeks and was 2500g.

Also if it helps I didn't have a proper bump until 30 weeks.

Hey - sounds like you have a good plan in place for a follow up scan. That weight is on the smaller side but still above the 10th centile- they’ll be wanting to track how baby grows over time. I expect they did doppler blood flow measurements for you today and they would have been fine - if there’s further growth drop off at your next scan they may want to scan more often to check those dopplers. It’s pretty common to have this kind of scenario - ultrasound has a big +- range, so it’s possible to see babies up and down the chart a bit from one scan to the next, things may go back to routine monitoring if growth is fine next time. If growth drops, they’ll talk to you about having baby earlier perhaps - something like 38-40 weeks would be the most common scenario. While you’re waiting for your next scan just make sure to be aware of movements and get things checked out if you’re worried at all.

@TenThousandSpoons0 thank you, yes they checked everything else and it was fine. And i totally see what you mean about the +- on ultrasound, baby wasn't in the best position and it was hard for them to get measurements which will definitely be a factor.
