TMI- Loose stool, menstrual like cramps and lower back pain.

So last night i started experiencing cramping and lower back pain, originally i thought it wouldve been something i ate but i had no urge to go to the loo. I was in and out of sleep last night and everytime i woke up id get cramps and back pain that would last 20ish seconds, id always fall back asleep before any other cramping happened.

This morning i woke up and had the same cramping and back pain but now i have loose stool while cleaning up i did see that i lost a bit of my mucus plug. Im 38+2 is labour a few days away ?

Hey! I'm experiencing similar and was told today that I can expect several days- weeks
Even of these symptoms!

I wanted to cry. We will get through it though.

Always call triage for advice if you're worried and good luck xxx

Thats how it was with me for my first, that being said it was a freak of nature labour at only 4.5 hours long. Shock

If you can, try to get things moving, if you want by sitting on your ball and walking around as much as posiible.

Is bub engaged too? Sounds like you're well on your way!!!

Loose stool and twinges were the night before. On 17/1/2010

Again, this was a freak of nature first labour.

-I vomited whilst watching eastenders (I think it was around 7.30ish and par for the course for eastenders veiwing lol).

-waters broke as soon as I came back from the bathroom and sat down. I was just about to eat a jacket potato. :(

-Went to hosp and was 1 cm, midwife confirmed my waters had broken and it was just a waiting game.

-Got sent home.

-Only lived 2 mins away from hosp at the time but had to get taxi because I'm the only one who drives and yeah didn't feel like driving.

-Female taxi driver asked me how my vag was feeling. Fun memory lol

-Absolute agony within 2 minutes of getting home. I was like the girl from the exorcist. Contorting, screaming. Trying to climb the walls, you know, general possession like activities.

-Had to call ambulance because this was all during the great snows of 2010! And whilst I didn't think I'd give birth so quickly I also didn't want to give birth in the snow or on the way to hosp and I was in so much pain at this point I needed something and that something was the wonderful beautiful drug ^entinox^ (choral singing).
Thank you ambulance man for shoving it in my gob! I saw the future lol.

--ambulance got me in to hospital and I was only 2 cm but so distressed and the weather was getting super bad they weren't going to send me home. 😇😇

-An hour later I was told in no uncertain terms that I could not have an epidural because I was 10cm and needed to start pushing.

-DD was born at 23.52pm 18/1/2010. 8 minutes before her due date.

Roller coaster. It was fun though and I'm so glad it went the way it did.
