Gender guesses for pregnant twin sisters 3 weeks apart!

Hey, my sister and I are both pregnant and with very close due dates. What do we think for gender guesses for pic 1 and pic 2?

Purely going by the skulls, I agree with all the other posters. Baby 1 - Girl, Baby 2 - Boy.

Why do these two scans look so different?
And what is it about the skulls that tells the sex?

@Smallsteps88 first one is mine and second is my sisters, I wondered that too but we had our scans at different hospitals so maybe slightly different/newer equipment or something 🤷‍♀️

@Smallsteps88 Not yet but we will both be finding in a few weeks.

I only read up on it recently but I think girls skulls are suppose to be more round and boys more blocky? It’s just a bit of fun though, 50% of getting it right 😊

I have one girl and four boys, my dd was the only one with that rounded skull shape

How interesting! Must have something behind it then. I know there is also nub theory but I’m not sure I can spot them in the scans.

I'd also say 1.girl 2.boy

So everyone was wrong! I’m having a boy (pic 1) and my sister is having a girl (pic 2). So much for skull theory 😊 xx

There are nubs on both and according to that would have said definitely girl for the second photo. The first according to nub theory could have gone either way it is at more an angle than the second one which suggests boy but in my opinion less than at a 10% angle which the theory states is usually a girl. Remember all just theories though! Congratulations on your baby boy and your niece x
