Fluctuating breast soreness in early pregnancy?

Hi everyone. Been ttc for a while, now 4+3 pregnant (first ever pregnancy at 38). Last week my breasts were sore but today they feel back to normal. Was absolutely ecstatic initially, now really worried! Has anyone else had fluctuating or fleeting breast soreness early on but still gone on to have a viable pregnancy?!

Totally normal! I'm 5 weeks. Some days my boobs don't hurt at all, others they're agony. It's normal for symptoms to come and go.

And congratulations!

Every time mine stopped hurting I was tempted to take another test, but they within days they'd be agony again, think the soreness tailed off properly at around 10 weeks which is around when the placenta takes over, I didn't start getting sorted boobs until I was nearer seven weeks

Thanks so much for your reply! So glad someone is experiencing the same as me. I keep trying not to worry... but it’s so difficult! Because of my age I’m paranoid about a miscarriage

I found it really varied a lot throughout the first trimester Smile

I’m 14 weeks! Some days I had sore nipples, some days shooting pains, some days absolutely nothing. Apart from that & feeling tired, I had no other symptoms which led me to worrying all the time instead of being grateful that I didn’t have sickness! Xx

I feel so much better - mainly that I’m not the only worrier out there!! Also taking a test every time my symptoms wane.🙄
Congratulations everyone and good luck x

Stop testing!! I did about 50 and then went nuts if I thought of the lines looked a bit fainter. Save your money and have a private early scan - if you are worrier, they are worth every penny :). Congratulations xxx

Have taken your advice and booked a scan. Pregnancy certainly isn’t great for those of us who worry or are impatient! Thank you all for your kind words - has made me feel more relaxed this weekend! Xx

It definitely gets better about 11/12 weeks!!! Try and enjoy it. Let me know how your scan goes 😊
