Hi ladies I'm 33weeks and I'm over it. I can't wait for this baby to arrive but I know he needs to cook more. I'm at a really uncomfortable stage in my pregnancy the only place I feel comfortable is in the bathtub.

I can't get a good night's sleep even after purchasing a pregnancy pillow! I'm even suffering from SPD which is a pain in the ass I'm just so fed up came on here to rant a little because I know you ladies will understand because my partner does not get what pregnant women go through he feels like its easy and he can do it lol

I also forgot to mention I'm having tooth problems that require me to get an x-ray but cant do because I'm pregnant so now I have to deal with a very sensitive tooth that my dentist cant do anything about until I give birth

Hi OP! Firstly, I feel your pain! I have a 9 week old now so it has been long since I was in your shoes! It's so shit, but you're nearly there!!
Just nap when you can, gentle walks and eat whatever the hell you want! This friggin tear system is making all of our pregnancies worse! Mine sucked with not having DH with me for anything, other than when I went to the delivery ward!
Trust me when I say you will literally not care about any of it once you're little bundle gets here! I didn't believe it when women told me exactly that but it's so true!
Also with the x-Ray, I had one at the dentist during my pregnancy. The radiation (or whatever it is) is soooooo low on a dentist x-Ray it won't harm your baby, but do check with your own dentist first. Don't suffer with a tooth problem! Not worth adding to everything you're feeling right now.
Just grit your teeth, keep smiling and enjoy every kick and roll in your belly your bundle gives you. He/she will be here before you know it!
All the best 🥰🥰🥰

Tier system* 🤦🏻‍♀️

Bellbell1199 · 27/11/2020 21:47

Almost there!. I'm 35 weeks, terrible pgp, not sleeping well at all, heartburn, nausea, generally uncomfortable.
Just finished work today, so at least can rest now until she's here!

emma911030 · 27/11/2020 21:53

Yes!!! Oh my god! I'm 35+1 with twins and I am literally done in. I have an induction date for just over a weeks time but I'm like ok so I need these kids out of me!
Sleep? What's sleep? 😩.. I'm struggling too with SPD. My pubic bone feels like it's snapping when I try and walk, sit down, turning over in bed is like a no no. I don't have a pregnancy pillow but I can't see it will help anyway with how it's been. I use my duvet to straddle on my side if that makes sense. I've been I the spare room since forever cause I literally need space and I get really pissy with my partner breathing lol so I thought before I smother him I'm moving rooms. The bed I'm in is nicer too to be fair.
I've been getting really bad braxton hicks but they're still just uncomfortable rather than turning into painful real ones. I have a 21 month old little boy already and I can't do anything with him that isn't sat at the table colouring which he loves but prefers rolling the colours around not actually colouring and then getting him down to do something else he loses his shit even though he wasn't colouring anyway lol. Sorry to hear about your tooth, that's really crappy they there's nothing you can have done to make it better until you've had your baby! x

maymay6575 · 27/11/2020 22:31

@lockdownpregnancy
I wish I had the courage to go ahead with the x-ray but I just can't. even my dentist said he doesn't really want to do it while pregnant but it is my choice so I'll try to wait it out until then hopefully. he is saying I might need a root canal treatment

Hi ladies

I’m 32 weeks and really struggling..been quite down recently husband doesn’t really quite understand what it’s like thinks it’s quite easy etc.. I miss my mum a lot haven’t been able to see her due to covid and now with the new tier system I won’t be able to see her..
I’ve got sciatica which can be quite bad some nights I have diabetes in this pregnancy too and my sugars aren’t really well controlled so now I’m on metformin..three times a day which is making me sick and just generally feeling unwell... I’m finding it so hard to not have any sugar but it’s just so hard..! I’m literally back n forth hospital for appts for this I still got 3 weeks left at work..luckily I’m working from home so I do end up lying in bed lol.. hardly sleeping much I end up falling asleep by 9ish and then I’m up at like 1/2.. lol I also have a 4 year old lol.. turning in bed is just a mission in itself bad heartburn... I think that’s enough for now lol oh and I’m thinking of opting for a planned c section as I had an emergency one with my first... husband is supportive but then he’s saying having natural???? I’m totally confused lol

RBF92 · 29/11/2020 01:19

I could've written your post OP! I'm also currently 33 weeks too and fed up is an understatement! I'm exhausted all the time, fed up of pain from SPD, constantly uncomfortable no matter what I'm doing, fed up of not being able to bend down, never have a good night's sleep, constantly needing a wee, also having tooth problems with cutting upper wisdom teeth and paracetamol not touching the pain. Also recently moved house and struggling to get everything sorted becuase of SPD and exhaustion Sad like you I know he still needs too cook a bit longer but just really over being pregnant now!

KCN2020 · 29/11/2020 06:00

I hear you! I’m 37 weeks today and every night I end up in the spare room. The sciatica pain is unreal, like a burning numbness through my bum and back. I haven’t been able to sleep on my left side because of it for weeks and if one more person tells me to get all the sleep I can now I will flip 😅
Have you finished work yet OP? If you haven’t then definitley consider finishing a bit earlier than planned if possible...I feel a lot more relaxed about the not sleeping part since finishing this week. I am just going to nap when I can!

Pearsapiece · 29/11/2020 06:05

I'm with you. 30 weeks with dc2. Ds1 is 2 and loves to run around, a 30 weeks pregnant me does not! I've got pgp which has put me on crutches, I feel so tight around the bottom of my bump, I feel like the baby's gunna fall out. She's breech too which doesn't help!
My back aches, heartburn is a killer, tops of my legs hurt, baby keeps kicking my hips too which feels so weird. I'm so fed up but I've got ages to go.
I'm sorry you're all feeling similar.

MaverickDanger · 29/11/2020 06:36

Yep 37+5 and feeling like I’ve got forever to go!

Permanently uncomfortable & knackered. Managed five hours sleep so far so probably the best I’ve had in a while. Permanently grouchy, poor DH doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going.

I’m spending most of my time on my ball or lying on my side huffing Grin

Sorry to hear about everyone’s pains, hopefully you can take solace in the fact there’s a few of us.

Siabooj · 29/11/2020 13:26

Yes I'm 33 weeks today I cant seem to get to sleep anymore at night my legs hurt me, I've also got gastrointestinal diabetes which I cant get under control so I'm having an early csection at 37 weeks.
I cant wait for it to be over this is my 4th and definitely my last. 😂

kkr168 · 29/11/2020 13:41

40+3 here & completely fed up, lost my plug/show Wednesday & was hopeful things would start but nope, still nothing!!

ArtfulScreamer · 29/11/2020 16:57

I'm first trimester and fed up I dream of the third trimester Grin.
Keep going OP you're on the home stretch. You also have my sympathy on the tooth troubles. I once had a dental abscess and it’s the worst pain I've ever experienced, knocked pregnancy and EMCS right out the water.

AuntLucy · 29/11/2020 18:04

Definitely me. Thirtyfive weeks and feel like I'm gestating an elephant in there. So huge and uncomfortable and unwieldy all the damn time. Feels totally obscene to think I have to keep this up, getting bigger and bigger, for another month 🥺

Tallulahs09 · 30/11/2020 06:38

I'm 32 weeks and utterly fed up now. Exhausted all the time but can't get any sleep, horrendous heartburn all the time and feel huge. Every simple thing is becoming a challenge. Just spent the night in hospital cause of a bleed, all good now but haven't been fed while I've been here and had about an hours sleep, so one grumpy and fed up mama today!

Ditheringdooley · 30/11/2020 06:46

SPD is the worst- and lots of people don’t know what it is so they think you are grumbling about ordinary pregnancy pains (I know everyone is different). But I don’t think SPD sufferers get the sympathy and understanding they deserve!

I hate pregnancy so so much. My baby is 8w old now and she is lovely and I am so happy to be able to walk around and sleep again (when I can) and I was looking forward to her being here but it didn’t make being preg any easier!

Sending you good wishes and sympathy! I drowned all my pain and discomfort in chocolate and ice cream/ tv. Now have a lot of weight to shift.

On thé teeth - sensodyne and floss as much as possible to manage the sensitivity if you can’t get the treatment until after birth. I wouldn’t be to hesitant about a facial x Ray in 3rd trimester. V v low risk.

KCN2020 · 30/11/2020 08:57

@AuntLucy this tickled me 🐘 This is exactly how I describe it every time I roll over in bed! Such a big lump attached to my stomach now.
Home stretch now 💪🏻

StaceImpactWfan · 30/11/2020 09:10

Exactly this, I'm 33 weeks and fed up with the pain etc now. Obviously I want baby to stay where she is until ready. But I can't sleep, can't bend, can't move without being in pain. And the braxton hicks are a nightmare. Especially at 3am.

Same as you I feel like I can't talk to partner about it as they don't understand what we actually go through.

Not long left to go. So ill keep waddling along lol.

Yeah I know the feeling in 32 weeks and it’s really uncomfortable hardly sleeping.. husband doesn’t seem to understand what it’s like no sympathy as long as he gets his sleep it’s okay..I had a scan yesterday and they told me the baby is really low.....
