Ketones +1 in urine - should I be worried?

Hi,
I had my 28 week check up yesterday at the hospital. I am at higher risk of GD due to family history. The doctor performing the scan said that baby seemed ok - just at the higher end of the centile chart but within normal range for me. It could be just a bigger/longer baby. At my booking appt they did Hba1c as they were not doing the longer glucose tolerance test at this time due to covid. She didn't see the need to do it yesterday either - measured the fluid around baby and it seemed ok too. I notice on my notes that from my urine sample ketones was +1 but the doctor didn't mention anything about that. This was first morning pee so could have been from an overnight fast. Anyone else have this and should I be worried? The doctor didn't seem to mention it. Thank you for your help.

It’s almost definitely related to dehydration.

When was the last time you ate? Did you skip breakfast? With diabetes there is glucose in urine, was there any glucose?

I have pretty much had consistent ketones im now 37 weeks. Its defo dehydration. I've been sick so really struggling to eat and drink enough.

Thank you for your replies. The sample was from my first pee in the morning so probably could have been due to dehydration as would have been sleeping. That was the only thing that showed up in the test...the rest was negative.

I had that several times in pregnancy and it was just from not eating breakfast

My ketones where 3 or 4 I think when I was admitted to hospital with dehydration. Anything below 2/3 they don’t tend to worry
