Has anyone had quiet days of movement?

I'm 34 weeks, Yesterday I barely felt her move until in the evening when I went to bed and laid on my left side I felt the odd kick. Her pattern are normally in the evenings after tea but I also feel her move / stretch quite frequently throughout the day. I thought I'd give it until this afternoon and if she doesn't become more active I'll phone triage. As I have had the odd quiet day in the past. Has anyone else had this? Do you think with us being so busy/tired ourselves it makes them tired for the day too? Or is that just silly to think? This morning she's been a lot more active then she was yesterday so I'm thinking of that as a positive !

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Any change or reduction in movement should be investigated. It’s probably fine, but please call your midwife anyway - they always want to hear from you in these circumstances!

I had a few up and down days of lots of movement / not so much

However, please don’t be reassured by strangers on the internet. Any patterns of low / non movement should be checked by the midwife. They don’t mind at all, please do go in and get checked out

Please always call triage with any changes in your baby’s pattern of movement.

Thankyou everyone. I'll give them a call!
