[UCL/Anna Freud Centre] Parent-infant observation - New mothers or expectant mothers

Hi :) I am looking for new mothers who have a baby around 4 weeks old or are due to give birth this year (or in January).

I am a student of UCL studying MSc Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology. As part of my course, I will be doing a parent-infant observation, looking at the interaction between mother and infant.

What the parent-infant observation entails

  • An hour observation weekly will be conducted via Zoom (for 4-5months)

What we get out of the observation

  • Some mothers have said they found the experience valuable as they have a greater capacity to reflect upon themselves, their babies and the relationship with their babies.
  • It can also provide a great learning experience for me and can help me with my academic goals and advancement.

If you are interested or would like to know more, feel free to dm me or reply down below. Thank you
