Mad to buy some bits in Black Friday sales? - 10 weeks!

I'm not talking any big ticket items (although that is tempting too!)

But things like some quality sleep suits from a brand that doesn't usually have sales, and bits and pieces. I'm thinking if I get some good stuff for 3-6 months then that will also take some of the financial pressure from mat leave.

There isn't another major sale occasion before due date, apart from Jan but google tells me its not usually that good for baby stuff.

Anyone else starting to collect bits this early or am I completely mad?!

I’ll be 10 weeks too and very very tempted. Although I think I need to get Christmas presents out the way first.

But if I happen to see something I absolutely love for a bargain, I’ll be nabbing it!

I have bought from the beginning, I don’t believe in jinxing things but am fortunate enough to never have experienced a MC. If you like it, get it, especially as you’ll only have to pay more for it later on.

Get it while it’s cheap. If something bad is going to happen it’ll happen regardless of you buying anything.

Go for it, why not? You'll enjoy it.

Yep defo go for it. I used to grab little bits if I saw them on offer when we was ttc lol. I'm only 4+5 weeks now but I will get little bits if I see them on offer, we've said we will wait until the 12 week scan for the big bits but that's only because of Xmas lol. Enjoy x

I started buying when I first found out I was pregnant. I don't believe in 'jinxing anything' either as another poster has said. I liked to be practical and get things in sales.

Got our Next to Me cot in the Black Friday sales and then our travel system in the January sale...saved plenty and these were out two major purchases as far as I can remember. Definitely recommend looking for deals for those items and just keep slipping the odd bit of clothing in with your supermarket shop every week. Although saying that I wish I hadn't bought anything 0-3 or 3-6 as people got us LOADS. In future if I'm buying clothes gifts for people I'm going to get 9-12 if I can get the right season stuff or all year round basics, that's the size I started having to actively buy stuff if I remember rightly.
