12+3 cramping and backache

Hi all

I had my 12 week scan yesterday and everything was fine but this evening I've had some bad cramping and lower back ache. I had to take some paracetamol and get in the bath which seems to have eased it. There's no blood. I guess it could be from the scan the woman was pushing really hard to get the measurements.

Or maybe it's normal stretching because it isn't constant maybe a UTI or just because I'm a bit bunged up

I don't want to keep bugging the doctor for no reason but it's my first pregnancy and I don't know whether it's normal

I had similar after my 12 week scan and everything was fine

Pregnancy is such a worrying time though. Why don't you call your midwife unit just to be sure?

And don't feel like you're bugging them, my midwife explained that it's literally part of their job when I apologised for ringing over something that ended up being nothing!

@Milkshake7489 sorry to bother you can I just ask how long it lasted. I had it last night and then it went away throughout the night but this morning it's back 😢
