I had my 12 week scan today I keep saying she but I'm not sure why I've been reading about nub theory but can't work it out.

Yes, you should Google it. I did and now I’m so excited for my 12 week scan to see if I can see anything!

I had a scan on Monday at 8+5 days but he/she just looks like a little gummy bear 😂

Skull and heart rate is just for fun. It's nub theory that can actually tell you what you're having if the gestation is right and nub is visible

Im not an expert (the Facebook group I suggested has experts) so I can help but I can't tell you for sure but I bet others can as you have a really clear nub here

It's not just the angle of the nub that matters. Your baby's nub has clear stacking at the end of it and that makes me think boy but the stacking is slanting down which could suggest girl but again I'd check with an expert on the forum I told you about. By expert I mean a MOD, everyone else will be guessing (like me)

In terms of the angle. A nub may continue to rise until 12+ 5 gestation. Any "girl" nub before that time could become boy if the nub rises. It might rise, it might not.
A "boy" nub at 12 weeks will not fall and become a girl though. If it's a boy, you can tell. To be certain it's a girl the scan has to be as close to 13 weeks as poss as before that time, a girl nub could still rise and become a boy

In conclusion I have no idea what sex your baby is 🤣but I know others will be able to tell you very quickly and reliably. Their success rate is practically 100% for nubs they are sure about

....And it's free. Never pay for one of these dodgy online nub services as the sites that charge money are far less reliable (speaking from personal experience). The Facebook group I've found is by far the best and never charge for anything.
