Glass feeding bottles? Which ones best?

Thinking about buying glass baby bottles..

For our first DC, we used MAM feeding bottles and really liked them (I was breast feeding mainly, but also expressed)

For DC2 I’d like to use glass bottles, having read up on the risks of micro plastics getting into the milk.

Has anyone else successfully used glass bottles, and if so which ones do you like?

The MAM glass bottles don’t seem to have any airflow device, so I’m a bit concerned about colic.

Has anyone tried Dr Browns glass bottles? (although I think they have plastic parts inside.. which kind of defeats the object!!)

Any suggestions welcomed :)

I'm intrigued about this too. Have seen suggestions of metal bottles but I always find metal water bottles give drinks a weird taste so sacked off that idea.

My DH wants me to exclusively breastfeed but I want to make sure I have all bases covered, just to mitigate any stress if I have any issues feeding baby.

I think NUK do glass bottles, I didn’t use the glass ones myself but NUK were the only bottles my EBF baby would even remotely accept😊

I’ve ordered some NUK bottles - will see how we go!

I loved the MAM plastic bottles but their glass versions have a lot of bad reviews

I'd love to know people's views on these too! I'm hoping to breastfeed but with twins who are likely to be early it only seems sensible to have a back up plan! I'm a FTM so no idea about colic or what to look for ...

I second NUK glass bottles - had the most success with my bottle refuser with the NUK latex teats, now DC2 (also breastfed) happy to accept NUK nature sense.
If for some reason you get really stuck it seems it's the heating in plastic bottles that is the main concern, so you could heat in a glass container and transfer if needed.

When DD was older and moving around more, so less prone to wind, I changed to the glass MAM bottle for her babysitter to give her the EBM.

When DD was younger I’d initially started on the (plastic) tommee tippee bottles for her top-up feeds but she had terrible issues with trapped wind so I changed to the plastic MAM with the air vents system and the difference was noticeable straight away. Because of this, I think even given concerns about plastic I would probably use these MAMs for a newborn.

We use Tommy tippee and NUK glass bottles and baby finds it so much easier to use NUK, teat in first time every time but with Tommy tippee it usually takes a few goes for him to get the bottle in his mouth properly

There's an anti colic air vent in the NUK nature sense teats if that's helpful
