Hey so I'm 7+2 weeks with my third and I'm getting sickness every night the nausea wakes me up then I'm up for at least 3-4 hours without fail!

I'm now throwing up blood because I'm being sick so much. I'm absolutely exhausted I have 2 other children and a full time job in childcare.

I just need a good nights sleep I know I shouldn't moan but it's so mentally draining. Should I contact my GP or midwife and tell them I'm struggling?

X

Ah you poor thing. Yes speak to them. There are medications that can help. Can you eat a snack before bed and something in the night. I know it's not ideal.
I'm in the same boat. Fed up.
Good luck

@HooverWhenTheCoastIsClear my nausea starts in the evening so I have given up on big evening meals and just eating a few little things instead but even that makes me feel rubbish. I ended up in hospital with my 2nd on a drip because I was being so sick but that was at 17 weeks. It's just so draining I know it's a good sign and I've seen baby and heartbeat and it's all fine just want some sleep so badly x

Yeah I feel you.
My third also. I cry a lot.
I drink my meals now, make smoothies and fill with frozen spinich, berries, Greek yoghurt, oats, milk, hemp seeds, peanut butter.
It's been ok and seems to stay down if I sip slowly.

What fun pregnancy is why?
Men have no clue.

Mylasmummy2102 · 18/11/2020 02:19

It's so hard isn't it!!
Men do not have a clue at all I tell him I'm exhausted and he doesn't understand why I also have hypothyroidism so entertaining levels are good at the best of times! I'm hoping it doesn't last all the way trough this pregnancy! X

Same it’s horrific!!!(I can’t sleep now aswell and I’m 12 weeks! Hoping it will improve soon but had the same with my first!

Heyahun · 18/11/2020 03:01

Oh you poor thing! I felt awful until 17 weeks then ok for a bit - now I’m 26 weeks and I’m walking around my flat in agony from bloody trapped wind for the last hour 😩 It’s not fun is it

Definitely see can you get some medication?

Humpty11 · 18/11/2020 06:14

So sorry to hear how rubbish you’re feeling. You should definitely speak to the GP, they said to me that if I was vomiting more than 3 times a day or vomiting blood then they would start some anti sickness medications. I hope you get prescribed something to help soon.

Mylasmummy2102 · 18/11/2020 06:32

Thank you ladies I have had such a horrible night 😩 I will call my doctor today xx

Have you tried sipping Coke/Diet Coke whenever you start to feel sick ?
It worked for me and got me through to the magic 12 weeks !
I still felt sick but it made me feel better and reduced the vomiting.

Mylasmummy2102 · 18/11/2020 06:44

No I haven't as struggling to even keep water down atm I will see what the doctor says then I'll try it I'm willing to give anything a go x

You poor thing. It's just a hideous feeling. Get some anti sickness tablets and checked out. It really is soul destroying constantly feeling sick.
Mylasmummy2102 · 18/11/2020 16:24

Spoke to GP he's prescribed me some anti sickness pills and if I'm not better by Friday he wants me to ring up as i ended up in hospital with my last and he's worried that the blood is consistent so will see how it goes x
