Hi basically had a oops with husband and took the Ella one pill as I didn't feel ready to have a second child yet. (I have a 2year old)
Anyway I'm pregnant even though I took it which is fine we have come to terms with it and are now excited but I am worried about there being something wrong with the baby because of it. Anyone had a baby after taking Ella one?
I wanted to go for an early scan but they won't let me have one

Thanks

I think the pill stops you ovulating, if you had already ovulated then it wouldn’t have done anything. I think it’s unlikely to have harmed the baby at all as there’s no placenta in the early days so no way of passing anything on

Congratulations, they will be great play mates at that age.

I'm in this exact same situation now. I've got a 20month old and we weren't ready for our second so took Ella One and now found out I am 7 weeks pregnant. We can make it work and another will complete our family but I'm so scared there will be complications or risks to the baby.

May I ask how your pregnancy is progressing? Have you heard of any risks or anything associated with taking Ella One and becoming pregnant? Xx

Friends of ours had this too, they had a perfectly healthy daughter after thinking they were done with 2 boys.

@Lanni1 I'm almost 27 weeks pregnant and everything is perfect! It was such a shock to me and took a while to get use to the idea. But since we found out our daughter has changed so much she's now 2.4 years and is so much more independent! You'll be okay
