Puffy pregnant face- will it ever go back to normal

Hello everyone. Apologies for this shallow question. I am 32 weeks and my face looks so puffy/round these days. I have definitely gained some weight (12 kg) so maybe a bit more than what I should have gained. I barely recognise myself on pictures and it is really getting me down. Will my face go back to normal after birth or is this due to weight gain with pregnancy? xx

It'll go back down for sure. Everything was swollen for me, hands feet face.
I hate to say but it won't be instant. And it'll help to eat well after birth.

I blew up like a balloon last time but I had pre eclampsia so the swelling was pretty bad as well as weight gain.. patiently awaiting it to happen again this time Sad

I looked back to my pre-pregnant state about 3 weeks later, however I was only 18 so probably won’t be so lucky this time around

Yes definitely I was so puffy with all four of my babies. A few weeks after their births I was pretty much back to normal. In fact I had to go to hospital for a check up at 6 weeks with my second and the midwife I'd been seeing every few weeks walked past me, when she called me through she was gobsmacked at how different I looked facially.
