Hello, I have newly moved to the South London area from North London and am stuck here for a year in a tenancy contract - I recently found out I'm pregnant which was a massive shock because I was told I would need IVF and just went through three rounds of IVF egg freezing! I'm currently not working but my partner is. Originally moved here for my partner's job and am feeling very lonely as he knows some people in the area but I do not. He also has a job for social as well! It is hard to meet new people in the most normal of times but is even more difficult during lockdowns & Covid times. Does anyone have any suggestions/groups/meet-ups that you know of that I could go to? It's getting pretty lonely as none of my friends have started having children yet even though we are all in our 30s! Thank you.

Genuine question OP, Why are you stuck in a tenancy contract?

Tenants have a lot more rights these days and can now give 30 days notice to move out. You are no longer tied to 6 or 12 month tenancies. If it’s on your contract then it’s wrong and I would dispute it.
