Is this a thing? I'm already getting the 'are you sure there's only one baby in there' comments.

I'm not eating anymore than I did with the first but I look about 6 months pregnant and I'm just 16 weeks. I did gain four stone last time which tbh got me down once he was here and took an age to shift.

Going from my experience and everyone I know, this is absolutely a thing! Not to be brutal but your body has already done it once, so your muscles and tendons and things are all a bit more stretched out. I think I was the same size at 20 weeks with DS2 as I was at full term with DS1.

Yes! I think I've looked at least 6 weeks more pregnant this time round than I did last time. I've also put on more weight this time than last. This baby is measuring bigger than my first one so maybe it's to be expected!

Yes I’m definitely bigger this time around! I’m 18 weeks and look (and feel!) about 6 months

Definitely had a bigger bump earlier on with DD2. My bump at 17/18 weeks with DD2 was the same as my bump at 21/22 weeks with DD1. We bumped into someone in June and they were confused when I said my DD was September as they thought I was much further along than that. As a PP said, your body has already done it once so there is more give early on.

I've had a bump since 6 weeks, 15 weeks now and look 6 months.

I'm onto number 3 and only 16 weeks but feeling massive!

Yup and as my midwife tells me it's as our muscles are now already stretched so they pop out sooner. I'm 39 weeks now and feel I've ended up just the same size, it just came out sooner if you get me x
