I have a pregnancy weight gain question. I'm only 27 weeks pregnant but I have already put on 11kg (25lbs). I put on most of the weight in month 3 and 4 of pregnancy and it had slowed down for a while. But in the past few days I'm piling on the pounds again :( I try to eat healthily and get in at least 30 minutes of gentle exercise such as walking or Pilates in. I'm so worried I'll balloon up like crazy in the last trimester and become one of those people who can never shed their pregnancy weight gain. I've struggled with body image my whole life. Has anyone experienced similar weight gain and managed to lose it fairly quickly after birth? And did you pile on most of the weight in your third trimester?
My starting BMI was healthy 23.5.
