For you mummys to be in the uk, my hospital says i cant tell them im pregnant till 6 weeks?

So im about 4 1/2 weeks pregnant (i think!) Thats going by ovulation date if i go by LMP im 5 1/2!
My go said to get in contact with the midwives at my local hospital but there referall form says you cant start contacting them till you are atleast 6 weeks..is this just normal for the NHS or just this hospital?

Hi, I’m 6+3. I had my booking appointment on Monday and my scan is booked for 21st December. There is absolutely no harm in referring yourself and the Midwife can contact you in due course. Congratulations xx
