My partner and I are expecting our first baby in mid-December and just about have everything sorted and all the big things in.

Both my parents and his have very generously helped us with certain items. My mum and dad helped with the pram, his parents with the cot. We'd like to send something to say a big thank you and show how grateful we are. Can anyone help with ideas other than an ordinary bunch of flowers?

You could do a personalised card with a scan picture or similar? I’m sure there are websites that would enable this. It’s lovely that you want to do something special to say thank you

Perhaps restaurant vouchers for when they can use them?

Marks and Spencer do lovely hampers. I’d avoid restaurant vouchers tbh, lots won’t survive this second lockdown!

Something with the scan picture is a nice idea. And doing a hamper, especially as we're all likely to be spending a lot of time at home. Restaurant vouchers would be a good idea but a bit risky at the moment. Thanks for the ideas! x

Don't know how much she charges, but this lovely lady colours scan pictures, which I think are something a little different...
