4 weeks pregnant and brown discharge

Please can somebody help me ? I suffered a chemical last month and I've fell pregnant straight away I'm 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant this morning I've gone to the toilet and normal pregnancy discharge as been mixed in with some brown discharge? I'm just convinced this is me loosing the baby I'm absolutely gutted

If it gets heavier or bright red, I would recommend you get in touch with your GP. They may be able to refer you to the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit. However, many many women get bleeding/spotting during pregnancy so it may be nothing to worry about. I know it's hard not to worry. I have had spotting and some heavier bleeding at times for over a month now, but my pregnancy is progressing well. I just want to offer you some reassurance, it's not necessarily bad news.

Brown discharge is usually fine! It's old blood, most likely from implantation bleed. Really common, so you definitely don't need to panic.

P.s. I had it too, on and off for about three weeks during first trimester, weeks 4-7 if I remember rightly. Everything was fine.

I had brown discharge with my first pregnancy and unfortunately this went on to be a mmc. Despite calling the midwife everyday for 2 weeks before them agreeing to a scan ( I was 9-10 weeks).
My second pregnancy I miscarried at 4+4 and was just bright red and stomach cramps from the start. A bit like a heavy period really. I now find myself pregnant again and am currently 7+6 and about 6 days ago started having brown discharge when I wipe. They scanned me because of my history and we saw a heartbeat. They could find no reason for the brown discharge. They said if it is still happening for 14 days then Togo back again. I really do not know what to think or believe. I know spotting in early pregnancy is meant to be normal but that’s never been the case for me.
