Heartbeat but no growth - help!!

Hey everyone.

First post here! 😊

I am approximately 7-8 weeks pregnant. I went for a scan and was told I was 5 weeks 6 days. A week later and I'm measuring 6 weeks one day.

There's a heartbeat which they say is slow and obviously slow growth. I've had cramping all throughout my pregnancy so far and spotting too.

I'm only 4"11 and my partner is 5"4 so we're both really small! Could it just be a small baby?

It has a heartbeat so it's hanging in there. I just wish it would grow. I'd love some success stories if you have any! Or ant not so successful 😔

Hey, didn't want to read and run. Haven't had this hapoen to me (had a loss but different circumstances). I'm not an expert but I'm very sorry to say that with slow growth and a slow heartbeat it doesn't look great. However my fingers are crossed for you and I'm sending you positive thoughts!

Ahh thank you. I have everything crossed. The little heart is beating away so there's hope I guess 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I am sorry this is happening to you.
Unfortunately the slow growth, slow hb coupled with spotting doesn't sound good.
I experienced something similar last December and ended having a MC a few days after my repeat scan.
Sorry to not have more positive story but i will also have everything crossed for you 🙏

Thank you for your reply. Sorry you went through something similar. It's heartbreaking and hard to just hold onto any tiny little bit of hope 🤞🏼❤️

Hey, I know this is slightly old now but how did it turn out for you? Am going through the same thing. Expecting the worst but cant stop searching for success stories ☹
