Has anyone had a good outcome after drop in HCG levels?

I think I already know the answer but I’m just hoping to reach out and speak to anyone who had a good outcome after being told their HCG levels dropped in a 24hr period.

It’s my 2nd pregnancy, my 1st was thankfully plain sailing and my ds is now a healthy 9mth old baby. I’m 6 weeks pregnant and went for a scan on Friday only to be told there was a small gestational sac and tadpole measuring 1.3mm which seemed too small for my dates.. My HCG levels were 853 on Friday and have now dropped to 816 today, 48hrs later. I’ve been told it’s not looking like a viable pregnancy but has this happened to anyone who went on to have a viable pregnancy? Thanks so much x

Unfortunately, your doctor wouldn’t be telling you it isn’t viable if it was. hCG levels rise sharply in early pregnancy so no change in this case. I do sympathise as it’s a tough position to be in just waiting to miscarry.
